Oxygen Parts Inc. does not bill insurance for stationary or portable medical oxygen. Clients are able to submit claims directly for reimbursement.

A stationary oxygen concentrator is the oxygen machine typically provided through medicare and insurance. Portable medical oxygen is either an oxygen tank or a portable oxygen concentrator. Whoever accepts Medicare or insurance has the option to provide you with one or the other for portable oxygen. The reimbursement depends on the billing code.

In accordance with the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), oxygen concentrators are considered a Class II Medical Device. This means that you must have a valid prescription from a board-certified doctor in order to purchase one.

Yes. Because medical oxygen is a prescription drug. Oxygen concentrators dispenses medical-grade oxygen. Your prescription is required to have the doctors NPI number and their contact information, your name, date of birth and your oxygen flow setting. Your can ask your physician to provide you with a prescription containing this information. Our online portal for submitting this is on “Client resources” and then you can take it from there.

Purchasing, shipping & returns

Purchasing is recommended if you need medical oxygen for longer than 12 months.

Leasing is a good option when you only need a POC for 3 to 12 months.

Renting is recommended if you only need the POC for 1 week to 1 month.

For all non-prescription items, we offer 24/7 online ordering via this website and phone orders during customer service hours at 1-833-360-2155.

To place an online order (parts, accessories, tubing & disposables):

  1. Navigate to the page of the item you wish to purchase.
  2. Select a product option if applicable. Parts, accessories and all supplies
  3. For medical oxygen concentrators a prescription is required (go to “Client resources” to submit.
  4. Click the “Add to cart” button.
  5. A shopping cart window will appear. Click “Cart” to view or edit your cart contents or “Checkout” when you’re done adding items.
  6. Enter your contact, billing, and shipping information.
  7. Scroll down and enter your credit card details.
  8. Tick the box indicating that you agree to order terms.
  9. Select the “Place order” button to put your order through.
  10. You will receive a confirmation via email and a shipping notification with a tracking number when your order ships.

To order an oxygen concentrator:

A prescription is required by law to purchase a medical oxygen concentrator. We offer the option to submit your prescription online, or you can also ask your physician to fax it to us. After we receive your prescription, we will give you a call to discuss the concentrator you need. You can also call us at 1-833-360-2155 any time with any questions and to discuss your needs.
