Faulty Power Supply

The first and most straightforward explanation for the green light indicator not turning on is a faulty power supply. Begin troubleshooting by plugging the power supply directly into a wall outlet rather than the oxygen concentrator. If the green light indicator comes on, it confirms the power supply is functioning correctly, and the issue lies elsewhere.

Faulty Connector or Machine

If the green light indicator turns off once the power supply is plugged into the machine, it suggests a potential problem with either the oxygen concentrator or the battery.

Here are a few steps to narrow down the source of the issues:

  • Check the connector: Examine the connector for any visible damage, bent pins, or loose wires. If any issues are detected, contact the manufacturer.
  • Clean the connector: Ensure that the connector on the power supply and the oxygen concentrator is clean and free from debris.
  • Test with a different power supply: If possible, try using another power supply to power the oxygen concentrator. If the green light indicator on the AC power supply (wall charger) turns on with a different power supply, this indicates that the original power supply is faulty ad may need replacement. If you do not have the AC power supply (wall plug charger) try plugging the machine using the DC charger (car charger) and see if you can charge the battery. If your battery is completely depleted keep the charger on machine for several minutes (up to 15 minutes) to get it up to a minimal charge to allow it to indicate its being charged.

Battery Service

In some cases, the issue may not lie with the power supply or the oxygen concentrator itself but rather with the battery. If you suspect the battery is causing the green light indicator problem, consider the following steps:

  • Check the battery level, there is charge level button on the battery: Make sure the battery is adequately charged. If it is fully depleted, the oxygen concentrator may not function properly.
  • Battery replacement: If the battery is old or has been used for an extended period, it may require replacement. Contact the Oxygen Parts Inc. at 833-360-2155 to obtain a new battery and ensure compatibility.
